Rewards phone wallpaper №2 [Main: Nezuko RE]

We didn't share on progress of our Special, but to think of it, we didn't talk enough about Nezuko RE.

Here come fun and not facts from the set:
We made horn from the foil, papier mache, glue and paint. Hardest part was to atach it to forehead for big amount of time. Becasue skin, as we know, tend to become oily and sweaty as the time goes.

We draw all the "tattoo branches" by hand. But, you already know it from backstage. If you want to save drawn image on skin for a bit longer, you can use hair spray.

Nezuko's costume was a bit changed just to make our model look more mature.

5 kg of dry ice is more than enough for 3 hour photoshoot. Most of the time you'll spend boiling water, because hotter it is, bigger reaction.
Take in consideration room temperature or outside weather. You know, physics stuff and what result you want. )
Logical advice. Plan your light scheme before making reaction, because it runs out fast.

Truth to be told, whole reshoot was planned, because I really wanted to make Nezuko shot lying in mist. Really. At one point we wanted to construct our own fog machine using our smoke generator (which works on glycerol), copper pipe and freezer (or something as substitute).
Basically, we reinvented alcohol mashine, at least certain part of it.
Until the day, when Tao said: why we just don't use dry ice? Because we found out, that actual fog machines use dry ice, but in enormous amounts.

Overall photoshoot went really hard. We had too many things to use on set, aaand of course we forgot something at home. So, Tao needed to get it back asap.
Third of the shooting time was spent on constant make-up fixing. Which was annoying and messed with the shooting process. That's why we have too many lying poses. Which is somehow funny. )
I decided to draw all veins on character's face on post production. Because we imagined bulgin veins of the characters differently, then it is in original.
It cost me 1,5x more time on each image. I hope, all my efforts will pay off...
I have mixed feeling about the results of our Main. That's why I'm asking you to share your honest thoughts. I read every message and comment, and it really means a lot to me.
