Widowmaker Evening dress backstage preview!

Hello my Sweethearts!

Time finally came to reveal backstage from our precious December project. We have pretty good photos here and more will await in full backstage, that you will recieve at the end of this month.
Here come few insides from the set.
Our light scheme consisted of for lightsources: 2 stripboxes as main light sources and 2 reflectors with gel filters on them (red, blue, yellow and purple) as backlight and sidelight.
Or the plan was like that. In reality light sources were too powerful for the studio we used, turned out 400 watt bulbs are too much for room 10x5 size.
Or maybe because lower values for them were too big and not flexibale for precise tuning.
That's why we used mostly reflected light.

Fun fact.
Studio, where we shot our project, was very big and consisted of several "rooms". So in one of the rooms, people were shooting model commercial for lingerie shop. Or it just looked so, from side. How did we know? Two girls in lingeries and fur went on to smoke and rest, so we catched a glimpse of everything. )
At the same time in another room, family was having their lovely and warm photoshoot. Beautiful white dress on precious daughter, mom young and gorgeous, father serious and handsome. Everything like from the family magazine.
Amazing and funny contrast between two worlds. )

Interesting fact.
Me and Tao used different color backlight on set for this project. Red, magenta and yellow for me, and blue and white for Tao. I insisted on doing so. Good practice for both of us and better way to learn from each other. And it is good way to show our second photographer's vision and efforts. Because in our usual projects we don't use separate light scheme on set and just switch main camera with each other during shoot. So only us can tell what shot was made by whom.
He usually doesn't take credit in what we do, as he says "It is your creation, I'm just here to help and improve. And it is not neccassary to separate who is who - project looks whole - good", even so he does a lot from outside and inside of every project.
That's why today I wanted to highlight this fact and bring light to this member of Dzikan Team.
Our team consists of me, Tao and all my Friends here, who help me to bring more good things every month. And I'm really happy when our team grows and hope it'll get bigger! )
