Daenerys progress [Crafting and preparing stories. Hints]

 Hello my Sweethearts! 

There were and are so many things to prepare and work on happened these days, so I almost forgot about time ) I'll share with what to expect and news in my next posts ) And there are few exciting things!  
But before, I want to share on progress of our Daenerys project. Tomorrow, we are going to shoot it and I'm pretty excited and nervous (as always before every shoot). So for that, we needed to prepare several things.  
First - finish our Egg. In this post I'll share with photos during last step: painting.
For the Egg, I used styrofoam, foam rubber ( or foamiran) and hot glue. For the painting process I used water based paint (special for airbrushes). In order to achieve certain colour, I used 4 different colorus: black, brown, red and violet (mixed in different proportions for different parts). The only thing I forgot - before starting to paint use priming (primer?). ) So I ended up spending a bit too much paint )
For my Friends, who are into Modeling and Painting. The model of compressor I use is Iwata IS 875 HT and Iwata HP-CS airbrush 0,3mm. Just in case you were curious about them. By the way, these are gifts that I recieved on my birthday with combined power of my local and Patreon friends. So at some point it is your gift for me, and I can say you have great taste and I wanted them for a long time. ) With this I can practice and make more detailed bodyart on models in future)  
Anyway, in my last post I shared that I wanted to experiment with fire on Daenerys photoshoot. Generic bonfire is not enough for this character, so I wanted to add something extra.
For that, we soaked toilet paper rolls in melted wax (toilet paper is thin, absorbs well and dry fast). With them as base we are planning to make improvised torch. Since photography is slow process, we need something that will last long. Wax can help us with it. )  Also, for an extra, we made braids and soaked them in wax too. For close-up shots.  
We are planning to shoot using bonfire, hope we'll be able to do that, taking in consideration hard times in Siberia after forest fires. Luckily we are shooting on the river bank, so everything will be ok (especially with fire extinguisher). )
Here are few hints to make bonfire shots more interesting. You can throw a bit of flour in fire - it'll create more sparks. If you throw a bit of sugar, it'll create sparkles and microexplosion.  There are few options on how to make different color fire, but I decided not to go with it. I think it'll go wrong and won't suit if we'll shoot for example with green (BORAX) or white fire (magnesium sulfate).
In the end we might won't throw anything in fire at all. Maybe our model will be distracted too much with special effects on set ).

These are two small preparation stories I have for you today. Tomorrow will be big day. August in Siberia is pretty cold, so I hope it'll be warmer on set )
