News, upgrades and updates!

Hello my Sweethearts!
How were you these days?
It's been some time since my last post. I was pretty busy these days with negotiating, gathering and preparing. So there wasn't much time left to talk properly, so I decided to gather everything that I was working on and tell in one big post )

There were several things that I was working on, during this year and finally they are giving fruits! ) All that efforts were just to make sure that projects in 2019 will be even better, because if I want to release greater projects I need to prepare properly and beforehand.

Let's start with news and updates. )

During time of this year I was working on preparations for One Special Photoshoot. Actually it is the Commission project from one of my Friend. Truth to be told we started discussions and plans on this project last year. There were several difficulties with it, and one of them were problems to find proper "Craftlord", because some parts of the costume are pretty hard to be done. The one I found wasn't doing anything and just wasted a lot of our time (a lot of promises, but nothing at the end, which is sad because he is very skillfull). So Later on I managed to find replacement.
They are truly masters of their craft, but I needed to wait for quite a time. You can't do anything when line of clients is very long )
Recently, I made a small trip to their city (about 650km one way, it was looong winter road), in order to get acquainted better with them and to add some adjustements to our craft pieces. ) I know that everything can be solved throu social media, but sometimes you should come to a place to make sure everything is in progress and push work farther. You can see our first results on top photo )
There will be two pieces, but they still need a lot work to do, like adding metal texture, color, fasteners etc. Hardest part (shape) we passed, so I hope in January they'll be done. Which means we'll have opportunity to shoot this projest in 2019 )
I won't reveal character for now, but it's from very famous western game series. Guessing I live to you and will be interested to know your thoughts )

One more thing: My Friend, who is also one of my Patrons (hope you'll read this post), everything is in progress and  finally starting to get in shape )
I put a lot of efforts, nerves and work to push forward this long lasted project recent monthes, because it already cost us more than it was intended. So I'm burning with artistic fire in my heart!

Next news is about one of our upcoming projects. This one will be very interesting to work on, and of the main reasons: There will be TWO models in one photoshoot. So we are working on two costumes at the same time )
Remember I wrote in my last post about possible alfa-preshoot this month? So it was about it. But no matter how much strength you spent some things can't be done faster.
Recently, I've finished on making the first costume. All left is to add small details. Second one is in progress, but I can't show it. For now, please take a sneal-peek on how first costume looks on my Lovely Toy Shark. Isn't she sexy, hehehe? )

As it was said in title, I have news on upgrades for our projects )
This is very important one, because it'll help to adjust quality and maybe change style of our future projects!
As you know Light is very crucial thing in photography. In our projects I usually work with several flashlights (or impulse light sources). They are light to carry, don't use too much space in bag and not very expensive (chinese one )). But there are also some disadvantages. Main ones are: I'm stuck in several light scemes, they are lacking as lightsource in power. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of  photo studios equiped with proper studio light sources in my city. Don't know why, only thought - lack of knowledge and experience of local photographers or it's not seen as necessary thing, which is sad.
I always wanted to try working with constant light sources, and when I had opportunities - it was fun experience. So much things you can do, and how overall look of photos change.
So I was searching for light, compact and powerfull light sources, which I can mix
with flashlights and improve my works (to be able to pull of harder shots).
That's how I ended up finding BitLighter company. They are from Ukraine and producing this kind of production. On photo you can see actual one.
So I wrote them asking about partnership (cooperation) and (happy drum sound) they accepted it.  ) I asked for free product or at least good discount (they are pretty expensive) and ended up having both ) But in exchange I'll need to make review about working with these light sources on my social media.
The most important thing is: I'll have opportunity to raise quality of our projects for YOU. Which makes me happy and fires up even more.
Negotiations took quite a time from both sides, but hard work paid off )
Also I wanted to thank all of you for support you showed me last several monthes, so I could save up some finances to buy one of those lights (thanks to discount too). This is our collective win my Friends )
If everything will go acording to plan we can work with them starting from the very Beginning of 2019 )

Also we were working hard on preparations for Christmas Special. December is very busy month to everyone, so it takes a lot of efforts to solve issues with set location owner, print shop and etc.
Desire, to make sure that next 2019 year will be greater year with better projects, drives me work harder on preparations. But once again I'm catching myself on trying to bite too much than I can, hehe )
