Awoken by the warmth of the sun, a smile graced the features of the happy Yoshi as he sprang from bed and skipped outside. While the creature was odd looking, no doubt it seemed to resemble a red one of his own kind, so perhaps it was simply lost? After a short trip,the green dino returned with baskets of various fruits and coconuts, determined to get the odd looking yoshi to come back with him. If a Yoshi loved anything, it was food, so surely he would come back with him when presented with all the fruit one could eat! He greeted the red yoshi once again, his actions eliciting a similar response as before, but now, the red dino stopped as it looked at the baskets of fruit and coconut. The green one smiled and picked one up, presenting it to the other as a gift. But like before he was greeted by a rush of flames, and returned back to the village with nothing more than burnt baskets of inedible fruit.

Returning to the spot once again, the Yoshi brought with him something odd. Alongside his usual cheer were many leaves and a couple flags. Again he greeted the rather irritable red dino, and as the last two times, was greeted with a snarl and flames. The green yoshi dodged instinctively this time and put the equipment down in front of them, and looked on with an exasperated happiness. The smaller red dino looked at the flags, curious as to what they might be for, and let the odd large nosed reptile set everything up. Two flags on either side, with two lanes made up of leaves towards each end. What did he want? As the green yoshi finished his preparations, he dashed to the one side before going as fast as he could to the other. As he reached the flag he turned and ran back to the starting position, and took to making a winning pose. The red one understood what was to be implied, and proceeded to burn the set up, turning away once again. Time for another plan…

The green yoshi quickly began to walk back, this time bringing something akin to a large ball. As he was about to round the corner however, he overheard the red one moaning softly.
