So this pic took quite a bit of work to finish! It involved a lot more layers than I'm used to. So many expression layers that I felt like I'd almost animated him! 😵
For those of you interested in the technical side of things, I completed most of this in Corel Painter 2020. I really liked the finish the brush engine was producing. I mainly used two brushes found in the "Manga II" pack : "Artiste" & "Angular". If you are interested in producing digital art and have a setup that can handle it, I do recommend Corel Painter (although it has some crazy-invasive adware I recommend disabling). Anyway, I hope you guys liked this orc fella. I got quite a few other orcs I had sketched/inked which'll miss this year's orctober, but I'll make sure to randomly share some in the updates 👍
