New Patch: Mapping the Family Tree

To activate the code, right-click the game in your Steam library, click properties, go to the BETAS tab, and then enter the code. Then select "backer" from the dropdown.

Pre-Emptive Troubleshooting from Drake:
"Then depending on their settings Steam will start downloading the build or they can click Install/Update where the PLAY button would normally be in their library If that still doesn't work (it should) then they can go to the LOCAL FILES tab and click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES" which will force an update."

Then I am the only one you have heard from, but the problem is certainly not new to anyone; it's so pervasive. Was literally being extra careful with not overwriting my older save this time, but due to the system defaulting to number one, it still happened. Really, the easiest way would be to not have saving default to the first slot, but make you choose the slot you wanna save in first.

As it is now, I've overwritten 2 savesfiles that were quite a ways into the story (Winter City) due to saving defaulting on the first save slot and the UI choosing to *drag* the second slot instead of choosing it. As it stands now, it's practically useless to have multiple saves. Quicksave feature would solve all of this, of course.
