Star-Pack exclusive render 01 - MAY 18 W.I.P

As you can see in the image on the top I've worked on your current reward for the Star-Pack patrons. You can see the engine-preview of the final image and some crappy painted stuff in the middle haha.
The point is I just wanted to show a bit behind the scenes of my workflow. Actually this step is the hardest one because creating a material which looks like skin is very difficult. In professional CG rendering an entire team of lead designers, artists and researchers doing research to create the best and most realistic material to look at. Such as CGI in movies for example. For me as a single person this is would be insane to recreate - yet I still can find a way to keep the best things possible out of everything!
On the right side of the picture you can see a very close up of the material I was working on in the past few months. This type of material includes microstructurings like we have in our human skin - yet the material is not final but this is a sneek preview of what will coming in the future.
Also remember: The best material can look worse if your character model sucks! So keep that in mind and happy testing ^^
