God of Thunder W.I.P

I've been thinking quite a while to make a render of Thor like he's looking in the actual movie but over a decade there was no model of him which was "quite" usable.. How disappointing...
Only "official" models out there were from the marvel franchise and if you remember then you'll know that he has a quite different look.
The Model up here (which you only can see the back at the moment) is a "extreme mod" between 5 (!) different base models to give him the final shape. However the biggest problem is his face model... he has no posable eyes (they are just painted on) and the textures were amazingly 512x512p in resolution... I wonder how it's possible to design a character nowdays wich such disadvantages...
But this didn't stopped me to give him a "facelift" overall - It took me quite a while to retexture this guy completely - now he has the famous face of our beloved Thor actor Chris H. ^^
The final stuff will be done in blender where I can model his face and other details to get it good looking as possible!
Remember you can't turn "shit" into pure "gold" but you can make it smell less haha xD
overall I'm working since the beginning of this month on him so more updates will follow stay tuned and take care!
