Well each antagonist will be completely different from the last in both thought, deed, and backstory. No team rocket nonsense around here, or repeating the same types of antagonists arc after arc.

2023-01-08 09:27:27 +0000 UTCBased on this table and another comment about the empress being THE body fighter makes me want to take a guess on the archetype of the next antagonist. We've got already Michael as a bard with being a jack of all trades and liking to sing -lol- jk obviously he is caster/mage, ritualist as summoner, astrologist as mentalist/controller, and of course the empress as the fighter/monk. The first clear type that is missing is a Ranger/rogue. A stealthy sniper type could work well after the empress cause at that time Michael will have just gotten done slinking around the empress and in a reflective parody he is now the strong one with someone slinking around to take him out. Also of course he will get an airship like he wants and what better way to make an enemy than to imbue force/fire/lightning/whatever onto a solid steel arrow that has been metapoint enforced to become 10x bigger and heavier after being shot and strike down his shiny new airship. On the other hand that's a little too obvious. The other way could go into a true bard/priest type with maxed out charisma, aka aura. This bard or priest would basically be a call back to michaels idea of a church and have a fanatical legion of loyal followers that are willing to die for him and they will all work with no complaints or greed and give everything to thier leader because they are brainwashed. This would be a fallback to a similar situation of war with the ritualist except its not monsters but people they are fighting and they can all have skills. Could easily make this a group of people from the North or South, seeing as how the empress is to the west and we are in the east. These are my two guesses at the next antagonist, will be fun to see how far off I am or if I'm pretty close.
