I agree it is very impressing but Pirateaba is on another world altogether concerning chapter length, word count and it is going since several years already. Mistervii you are second on my list but it is great achievement ! Continue with this awesome schedule !!

Greggy

Please make sure not to burn yourself out, I think 2 chapters a day is already elite level.

Parametrix-Bootstrap

Yeah maybe and definitively a possibility but still seem a bit strange in my view with how the system have a lot of failsafe in the progression of it and what it give, its really a "tutorial" merciless yes but void who auto reck newbie for sure seem a bit off and strange in this optic and how it seem to function and what it have show in my view, well we will see :)

Zarik0

Tbh the fact that you can and are maintaining 2 chapters a day is the most impressive thing I’beseen

Jeff Casey

Oh that is a good point, a reshuffling is def possible. I wouldn’t put it past the lands to just destroy people from the void though considering how utterly merciless it is in other areas. I suppose we’ll just have to see

Jeff Casey

Great question! There is an ending already planned out. It is written down, and if I get hit by truck-kun, then it will be released. The same with each of the major antagonists and energy. The antagonists so the pacing is decent, and the energy rules so that they try to remain consistent, it is complex. That stuff is plotted and laid out, so no pulling it out of my rear at the last moment. As for length. As long as possible without filler. I had a stretch goal in mind, but it doesn't look like we will get there, with how quickly we are going through the first antagonist arc. I will also add, there is a reason I am doing 2 chapters/day and looking to go to 3 chapters/day.

What is really epic, is that "stretch onward towards eternity" AND that the mystery is still totally here, we "know" more or less very very generally where its going with MC, but everything else is totally clouded and mystery, so twist and tons of thing to discover everythwere and still unknow everytwhere and that can change a lot of things at everypoint of time, that its kinda epic, the tension and trill of discovering and keep adapting to their situation and don't know where its going at all is here (and a lot of time the author surprised me with his twist and how the system and worldbuilding is (detail of it and mini arc) Also its mega solid/planned/consistant/logic/multi layered which make it even better as we discover it little by little by the character stumbling into it and so need to manage it and adapt to it each time new thing come (i find it also not much previsible to me, like a lot of other story..... it can go multi way each time and with each twist and still a lot of unknow who can go both way, big plus for this :))) The suspension of disbelief is here and consistant :P and character who stumble into it and need to reevaluate and adapt each time something came out :P

Yeah but what if after a area get totally stomped (all city destroyed) we get a reset/reshuffle of it, of the whole cluster? (the void stay where they are, but the rest get totally recreated (so city just beside at some point) (after 2 reset) (seem strange some city have void just beside it (seem stupid of the system (its auto reck of all people of this city with the void influence on these low stats beginner)

Zarik0

You make a mighty fine point

Jeff Casey

Its gonna go to tier ten. Cause logic.

Markel Creek

I do wonder, mistervii, how long you expect this story to go on. So far it seems to stretch onward towards eternity, which is kinda epic, but I do wonder if you have an ending in mind, and if so how long you expect to take to get there

Jeff Casey

That’s a horrifying thought, but it would imply that some cities spawned only one square away from each other, which seems unlikely, plus city squares seem to only be adjacent to level 2 squares, but some voids are adjacent to level 3 squares, so if they were former city squares they would break the consistency of the systemic lands and the lands are nothing if not consistent. It’s an admittedly small sample size, but with current trends I feel like voids are more likely power sources rather than the result of catastrophic damage

Jeff Casey

My current theory is void zones are the consequence of shop pillars getting destroyed

“Telepo” NEED TO KNOW THE REST!
