2x07 So we finally find out what Destiny's mission is ...A message hidden in the background noise created at the beginning of the universe ..A sign of intelligent life? ...Another hint at the aliens who were able to create entire worlds? ..Did they create the universe? Clearly they are far more advanced than even the Ascended Ancients ..Who are they? These are all questions. Eli: "You had control of this ship... The whole time!" ....Ah yes ...David's faaaaavourite previous leon starts here ...He's mentioned a few times he hated seeing that in the episodes that aired after this one ..Pretty sure he even asked for it to be removed from the previous leon ..Not sure why ..But he said he didn't like seeing it every time 2x08 By your own words ..You don't usually feel bad for characters? ...Poor choice of words ...That's about as bad as saying you don't care ...I'm sure you didn't mean it that way though ...But I guess some things are better left unsaid during a recording ..People might get the wrong idea Yeah the countdown clock being an issue is dumb ...They've repeatedly stated by now that they have control of ALL. of Destiny's systems ...They've been flying the ship themselves ..Dropping out of FTL near points of interest ..They SHOULD. be able to stay in proximity of the planet as long as they need to ...My opinion is they added the countdown clock stuff as added drama to the episode and to fill time and also give Chloe something to do I guess ..It DOESN'T make sense otherwise Yeah a 110% agreed... Had Rush been honest from the get-go ...None of this would've happened ...Several good people would've still been alive Also ...They should have kept a MUCH. better check on Simeon (T-Bag) ...They let that bish basically roam free (sometimes with an escort) and he got into confrontations EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. ...If ANY. of the Lucian Alliance people should have been kept under CONSTANT. guard ...Simeon should have been at the TOP. of the list Yeeeeaaah... I'm on Rush and Eli's side on this one ...Simeon just killed people they loved ...They're willing to let the world burn to get their revenge ...I can't blame them That said though ...Rush just straight up killed Simeon ...NOT. how I would've done it ...I would've started shooting feet.. Hands.. Legs ..Arms.. Dick ...Y'know ...Torture him for funsies (for revenge) ...Shoot at anything he's not gonna need much longer and things that wouldn't instantly kill him ...Maybe he'd be willing to give me some intel (every person has a breaking point).. Not that I'd care (I'd be beyond giving a shit ..And you're right ..Earth would be fine) ...But I wouldn't kill him ..That would be too easy... I'd leave him crippled and defeated.. Bleeding out in the desert sun ..Begging to be put out of his misery ...It'd be the least he deserved Simeon got off easy.

2025-06-24 15:58:40 +0000 UTC2x5 These dream state episodes never do much for me unless we get some really kewl information in them. We didn’t get that here. The closest we got is everyone found out about Chloe still having the blueberry alien thing in her. But at least we got a monster in it that’s a little different. Some plant snakes that spit/bite (not sure which) blue growing infections. 2x6 I figured this had to be in Young’s head. It always started with him waking up and Rush would have jumped Destiny away before it could be destroyed but Young had no way of knowing that. Eli got a new crush, finally. His lusting after Chloe was getting a little weird. I mean she loves someone else, and she has made it very clear she just feels friendship for Eli. But Gin actually seems to like him, unless it’s a Lucian Alliance plot. 2x7 I don’t get why Rush insisted on going over. If something goes wrong, he can’t control Destiny to save himself without exposing himself and that he controls Destiny. Which is exactly what happened. Looks like maybe Rush and Young may make peace with one another. We’ll see. Oh, come on man, don’t kill Gin. That will destroy so many people. 2x8 Damn, they killed off Gin and Rush’s love interest. Very sad for , well, lots of people. Love the rage we are seeing from both Rush and Eli. Especially Eli, such a change for his character but at the same time, I get it. I saw the stampede idea coming but that’s because I watch a lot of westerns, very common tactic in westerns. I agree on Earth being able to defend itself, I agree. Between having the chair, multiple ZPMs, the Jaffa owing us, not to mention Atlantis is on Earth now. Earth should be able to wipe out the Lucian Alliance.

2025-06-23 19:32:03 +0000 UTCI agree Earth will be fine , although a Lucian Alliance attack surely could do damage it's not likely to be something catastrophic I mean we haven't heard them having somekind of tech or super weapon that could wipe us out

2025-06-21 11:19:04 +0000 UTCAs soon as Rush disabled the bomb on Dr. Park, they should've just gated back to Destiny. As you pointe out, Simian wouldn't have cooperated. The planet he gated too looked like there was no food & water & if Simian gated to another planet there was no guarantee of food. Even if Simian managed to find enough food & water to last the rest of his life, he'd be stuck there alone & survival would be rough.
