I think they said it was 8 days to open the clinic. I assume the building itself was already there, just repurposed and stocked with supplies. I assume the majority of the money will be to fund the staffing costs over time. "dude... she's Callie O'Malley" was such a great line from Alex. Gotta think about these things before getting married... Izzie's "tiny diamonds are great" however, was not. What a dickish thing to say. Pretty heartbreaking for everyone with the situation with Ellis. I think she did a really great job with her acting, too. A very complex character and she had to show off decades of trauma in a short amount of time and I think she did a really great job with that. She actually got nominated for an Emmy for outstanding guest star 2 years in a row for her work as Ellis in seasons 2 and 3 I think Bailey overstepped a little bit with the little girl that came into the clinic. Tough situation but I don't think she should have told the Dad. Yeah Mark does have a point that he shouldn't have been going in there. Although Webber is also an attending and he didn't volunteer himself to go in there either... I'm glad George stood up for Callie and their relationship in the end at least. The lady with the toxic blood is actually based on a real life case in the 90s. A woman that took some home remedy for pain management which combined with medical intervention such as oxygen masks and electrical shocks turned her blood toxic. None of the doctors treating her died, but 5 were hospitalised including one that was in intensive care for weeks.
