2024-08-01 10:02:25 +0000 UTCMe too I was expecting more from Devin than just bluntly trying to kill Paternia in front of everyone with apparently no preparation, no help... Also, it seems he stayed long minutes weapon up instead of attacking quickly.... And why not throwing away his weapon from afar as he is so good at it ? I am sad because all the time spent to build Devin as a strong and confident male character seems negated in just one episode. Paternia is not even a little bit challenged blocking him and so Devin looks pathetic. π I just hope we won't see Serenina saving the day by acting out of character... Also, when I wrote that Devin attacked Paternia 'in front of everyone', I am wrong because where is everyone? You don't even see a guard. At this wedding only attend the couple to be married, the priestess, the murderer and his target... I know that scenes with many characters are costly but why not reusing the background and characters of the first apparition of Serenina in front of the court? With some minor modifications and some familiar characters added to the crowd, it would have done the job better than this empty temple. I'm start thinking that some stories are better let unfinished... π
