2025-10-15 17:08:02 +0000 UTCone thing i'm loving about this show so far is how it allows you to just sit in the discomfort of contradiction. like so many character arcs and plot points have generated such a mixture of heartwarming vs icky emotions at the same time but the audience is never forced to pick a definitive stance, we just accept that all of it is true at once. like the vampires are legit super villains who do crazy fucked up things which make me genuinely revile them AND they're beautiful vulnerable people who i'm rooting for to find happiness. i think not having a single character who's completely pure allows me to just enjoy the journey of the show without having to filter every event through the lens of how it's gonna impact my one beloved good guy character. on a separate note the undercurrent of louis' loneliness throughout this show has been so deeply sad to me. seeing him see claudia find Her People at the end of this ep while he continues to be perpetually Alone is just so tragic. I'm enjoying his relationship with armand but what louis needs more than anything is community !!
