2025-07-22 04:13:14 +0000 UTCSomething I really liked about this show was how they were able to show Da-on’s relationship with each of the guys and their love for him through the rings they gave him. For example: Soohyun- The ring was too big. He was very excessive and overwhelming with Da-on. I can’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure you mentioned something along the lines of how Soohyun was very consuming almost like he was trying to absorb Da-on. Jaemin- The ring was too small/tight. Jaemin’s love for Da-on was forced and unable to grow once it hit a certain point. Lacking in many ways. Sunghyun- The ring fit perfectly. He wasn’t too overwhelming or too lacking. He was always supportive and encouraging of Da-on. His love for him was accepting and honest. He was the perfect person for Da-on.

2025-07-16 08:40:55 +0000 UTCSo I don't think Da-on was interested in Jaemin until after Jaemin got Soohyun to go study abroad. We are shown that it's actually Soohyun that Da-on liked in college. From Jaemin's (twisted) perspective, he met Da-on first, and then when Soohyun came into the picture, Da-on was lured away by him being nice. Because of that, Jaemin has convinced himself that Da-on still loves Soohyun. I think when he tells Da-on that Soohyun has come back and Da-on begs Jaemin not to get back together with him, Jaemin believes it's because Da-on still loves Soohyun. He is honestly just as obsessed with Soohyun as he is with Da-on, but in a different way. You are right, throuple was the correct option, but then my cinnamon roll wouldn't have had a chance. Also I don't know if you know this, but I really need you to: the actor who plays Soohyun was only like 20-21 when this show was made. Is that not the craziest thing you've ever heard? Great reaction by the way! I loved your "GET HELP" when Jaemin pulled out the ring. Excited to see what BL you're reacting to next!
