2025-01-23 04:22:52 +0000 UTCi have so many thoughts on keen from this ep. idk why i completely disregarded/didnt think about how keen’s parents were also likely killed by khun mae. she tried to train them all but he just couldnt keep up so she delegated him to do behind the scenes work instead. this makes his mommy issues so much more real to me. keen’s parents are dead and as a child of course he craves attention and affection. it seems like in the current day, khun mae cares for/pays more attention to keen but i can see how his perspective would be different. he literally cannot do the one thing khun mae wants. he has a complex from watching fadel and bison excelling while he’s just on the sidelines. he wanted so badly to be able to prove his worth that when she decided fadel and bison needed to be taken out, he tried to do the job himself. this was his chance and he fucked it up. also, keen he has lover and wants to quit the job. he either goes crazy mode from his feelings of inadequacy or maybe. just maybe. there’s a possibility of keen also turning against the mom? i think it would be a great ending arc for his character to band together with fadel and bison. found family and all that jazz

(But seriously, personal theory is that the hitman that the mother mentioned to Keen who they hired "two years ago" either took out the ex or IS the ex. Also hilarious that the next morning, Fadel is totally not worried about Style getting an infection in the water. I like to think that the bacteria respected that there was a montage happening and stayed out of the way.)

I thought about it because his personality is contrasting in various moments, he can be fun, but as you said matter of fact, a "crazy dog", but kind. Overall he's just a very interesting and complex caracter.
