2024-07-11 14:37:40 +0000 UTCI was crying hard every time watching this episode😭. I had the same doubt on how they are gonna wrap up the rest in 1 episode but it is nicely done. Cannot wait for your reaction!

2024-07-10 22:56:03 +0000 UTCI'm reading Qi Ye right now actually (i avoided it for too long lol) and good lord the things Beiyuan and Zishu planned together... - there is a reason he and Wen Kexing fit together so well :'D

2024-07-09 15:02:03 +0000 UTCI'm here again! This time with no information though xD Everything i could say abaout this episode would be just me comparing it to the book and i know you dont want spoilers for that ^^ I still cry in this episode at every rewatch, but it does get easier to watch (though i do skip over Weinings death everytime) Fun Fact: In this universe the Red-String-of-Fate is actually a thing ;) Another Fun Fact: Wu Xi and Jing Beiyuan are portrayed as just a cute little couple who could do no harm "Wu Xi is just a healer"- kinda vibe - this could not be more wrong :D

2024-07-09 14:40:24 +0000 UTCoh i'm pretty sure it's because of all the horrilble stuff everyone did in Qi Ye - if I'm not wront China has a rule that a character has to be "good" or "bad" - and if the character is portrayed as "bad" and or even "morallay grey" they can't have a good ending - ergo they have to be miserable or dead -> great example for this is actually The Untamed because they had to change some things so Wei Wuxian seems more "good" than he actually is in the book (i can explain more, but i am not sure if you have readd the books, or want to read them and if this would be a spoiler!) Another example would be "Sleuth of Ming Dynasty" - where everyone was morally good and portrayed like that - but to give us a happy ending anyway they had to squeeze in a temporary female love interest xD

2024-07-09 14:32:54 +0000 UTCI was binging all of the show and it was soooo late when I first watched this and I felt something bad coming and paused right before MHY killed WN and I looked and the screenshot of him with his hands right there and I just stared at it in dread hoping I hadn’t guessed what was coming and I maybe let it play for five more seconds but paused again when he started falling and then just balled. I truly didn’t know what to do with myself. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much but this couple just had me sobbing in the dark for like twenty minutes straight plus the rest of the episode and beyond. When the Wind Sect Master came on screen the first time during this watch I actually started to get physically angry and could barely look at him. I can’t believe the journey is ending😢it’s so bittersweet but I am so glad I decided to watch this show with you❤️tysm

2024-07-08 21:50:38 +0000 UTCI have been absolutely *dreading* this episode. The first time I watched it I was *ugly sobbing* at work! I just jumped around on this ep as a rewatch and I still had tears streaming down my face bc it's such a fucking hard episode. So yeah. Seriously devastating. The deaths you never saw coming. Interestingly, someone loved this pair so much that he put them in a car commercial which was basically just a way to play act them getting to be together in another life. It's not a spoiler for anything else.
