Concerning Animation

There are a few options to consider when animating, as well as some changes to my approach on them.

The options are:

Here's a quick test of the engine I'll be using for the animation. Please note that the actual animation size will be bigger.(Use arrows keys to navigate)

So far I'm leaning on creating the animation and comic panels within Clip Studio Paint, then importing them into Flash. Not to worry though if you're concerned about finding the animation within the Flash file to keep, I'll also export them in GIF form as well.

Going this method, this ensures that the drawings are of good quality, and also less headache as well, since Flash drawing tools absolutely suck.

For animations, I'll be keeping them short, 8 to 10 frames long. Although short, there will be various animations within a file, as to not keep it short of content.

I was actually considering having long, drawn out animations, but that is far too time consuming, especially when wanting to tell a short story.

Expect some more updates soon.

Oh, and about that Skoon butt animation, that'll get done sometime, and I'll share with ya the final product. It's not supposed to be a complete thing, but it's good practice, so why not.

But yeah, if you've read through all that, lemme know what ya think. I'm sure you guys will be happy with what will be coming out.

True, burn out has affected me before. I'm thinking of going with the first option with some techniques to improve the visual looks of the animation. I'm hoping it will work out. But we'll see with some animation tests soon.

We'll see, right now looking into using Flash fully with some techniques. I'll be showing examples soon.

I would say stick with the first option, but think about your choices and find whatever's comfortable for you. The last thing you want to suffer is burnout.

Daemont92

From what you describe, the third option might be the best, then the first. Regardless, the choice is whatever is most convenient for you.

Q

These all sound like valid options, either way looking forward to what you create!
