[ラフ#1] 嫁衣胡桃

So.. After Burnice, I can finally move onto new drawing!!! But due to not sketching anything new for sooo long, it seems I forgot how to draw… TwT It took me a whole day just to sketch a naked Hutao… And even so, there was sooo many anatomical errors it took me hours to fix… Anyway, this is my version of Hutao~ I slightly made her taller and have slight bewb instead of being flat, since in my mind Hutao is around 1tehe7, she simply has a petite body, not exactly a l0li like some people think she is... Originally, I was going to draw a very standard standing pose with no posing at all, to have a very traditional looking pose to show the seriousness of a Chinese wedding. BUT, that look boring as fuk. Given Hutao’s playful nature, I figure she will be posing for fun instead, and so I decided to make her do her signature claw hand pose… But gosh… this kinda hand is very annoying to draw, I end up drawing at least 8 hands until I finally able to get one I am happy with… The main theme of this drawing is still kinda a secret for now, I want to reveal it later once I actually have the full sketch to show haha. Time being, I will just show you guys a very pretty looking Hutao in a traditional Chinese wedding dress!~! Honestly I am no expert in Chinese culture at all, as most of my youth actually been living aboard, traditional Chinese clothing like this is definitely something quite new and challenging for me to draw. Apparently there is quite a few style of Chinese wedding dress? But in the end I settled with Xiuhefu as it seems to work best with what I am going for, which is, Transparent wedding dress woohooooooo!!! Annoyingly, there is literally NO ONE, nobody at all who made or drew transparent Xiuhefu!! Honestly shocked as there is Transparent yukata from Japan but somehow nobody think to try draw transparent Chinese wedding dress huh… Without references, it was kinda annoying to think of how to make this idea work.. I hope this looks good >A< (Don’t want to bring shame to my race yooo XD) It also took me AGESSS to find a Xiuhefu design I like, after finding one I kinda just copy most of the design, and then make some areas transparent. That being said, I am soooo not looking forward on drawing all those pattern on her clothes, it’s gonna hell……….. TwT As for her underwear, my Chinese friend specifically say it has to be Dudou. Since traditionally it is what Chinese girls wears back in the days… As for her panty, I decided to add a more artistic touch by giving her butterfly panty with pearl beads!! Since Hutao is often associated with butterflies I figure it will look good to add it here and there on her outfit~ I hope you guys like how Hutao looks in my artstyle~~
