Honestly I was a bit surprised to see how many movies there are about the Olympics - personally I love watching the figure skating and that big ski jump things and they see how far they can go. Just because, how absolutely terrifying but also freaking COOL is that - I bet they feel like superman flying or something.
Anywayssss - here's our olympic poll - all choices coming from the suggestions on the last poll!

NOW I wanna know what movies would be good for a President's Day Poll! Obviously we already have some good suggestions like Rob Reiner's The America President and Dave - also I'm not opposed to more doc style movies, ya know!

I know it will not win, but Chariots of Fire is hands down the best movie in the poll - an Oscar winner with an amazing sound track. Miracle is great (always love Kurt Russell), I, Tonya has fantastic performances and the true story is so crazy pants. The rest of the movies are fun and I think you will enjoy them, but I STRONGLY encourage you to revisit Chariots of Fire and Miracle. Both give you the feel good cries.

Not about a president, but Teddy Roosevelt plays heavily and is portrayed amazingly by Brian Keith. It’s also got Sean Connery and Candace Bergen! 2. Air Force One. A badass President Harrison Ford? Yes, please! And Vice President Glenn Close? Bad guy Gary Oldman? All. Day. Long. lol

2026-01-17 02:03:11 +0000 UTCCutting Edge is great, but not a true story. If you’re looking for a true story, the best ones are Chariots of Fire, Cool Runnings, & Miracle. Chariots of Fire is very much a dramatic piece. Cool Runnings is comedic (hello…John Candy!) Miracle is inspirational. And it’s got Kurt Russell!

2026-01-15 07:05:07 +0000 UTCA president type movie you might want to consider is “JFK,” with an all star cast including Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, John Candy, and Kevin Bacon. Also, “All the President’s Men” is good, starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford.
