Cutting the order in half implies that Coalt won't get any of the new order. An order for two Alphas for 80 implies each Alpha eats 40. If she was ordering for Coalt, the new order should have been slightly more than 40, leaving some for him. Either that, or Scylla was assuming Coalt was going to eat more than half of the original 80 order. Grr, this is triggering my puzzle-solving instincts...
