2024-01-28 04:05:00 +0000 UTCI probably would have voted for “The Notebook” or “Pretty In Pink” if “Love Story” wasn’t on the poll. However, with Ryan O’ Neal’s recent passing and it being a classic film as well as tearjerker I think “Love Story” should still be watched soon in memory of Ryan O’ Neal since it’s one of his most memorable roles. The Notebook should definitely be viewed as well too. It’s also a beautiful story and a sweet tearjerker. Personally as far as romance 💝 movies 🎥 go, I think “Pride & Prejudice” (2005) with Keira Knightley from Pirates of the Caribbean and the film 🎥 “Belle” (2013) are more romantic than anything on this list. “Belle” could also pull triple duty and work for Black History Month and Tom Wilkinson who also recently passed is in Belle now that I think of it. Three birds one stone sort of thing. “Belle” is a beautiful story with slight history to it and it’s one of my favorites. I think she’d like it.
