You mentioned the possibility of being interested in Mortal Kombat, and I gotta recommend at least watching the story mode for the games starting in Mortal Kombat (2011) and continuing all the way to Mortal Kombat 1 (2023). Super fun stories in there!

Like, everyone else is out there with the mushroom people and FEDRA and all kinds of shit, and meanwhile Frank fell into a hole and won the apocalypse.
