Update: Alex's Appearence, Game Scope and my Creative Vision.
Added 2025-04-08 16:17:07 +0000 UTCHello everyone, hope you're doing well.
The previous post sparked a much more heated discussion than I expected. I want to say that I genuinely appreciate all the feedback I received—both in the Discord group and through private messages. It’s clear that many of you are passionate about the project, and that means a lot to me. I’d like to take a moment to address some of the concerns and share my current vision for the game to provide clarity.
The original game is called A Failure to Launch, and that name was not chosen by accident. It refers to a real-world syndrome where individuals struggle to take responsibility and fully step into adulthood. That concept is at the heart of the game’s main storyline. The central question is whether Alex will remain a "Failure to Launch"—or if he will grow and overcome that label. That’s the core of the narrative, and the game will have two main endings based on how the player guides Alex’s growth.
Now, regarding feminization, which is a theme introduced early in the game. Players who choose to explore this path will see Alex gradually adopt a more feminine or hot femboy appearance. This will include visual changes and character reactions—such as someone referring to Alex as a girl or girlfriend during a romantic scene. However, this path will not impact the core story arc. Whether Alex is more feminine or not will have no bearing on whether he is ultimately a Failure to Launch. That journey is about emotional and personal development, not aesthetics.
The appearance changes available through this path will range from Alex’s current look to a more femboy style, and potentially even include things like a boob job, butt job, and facial changes—depending on how far the player chooses to go. These are all visual and cosmetic choices that influence dialogue reactivity, but not the progression or outcome of the main story. So we're talking 3 stages, normal, femboy and bimbo.
It’s actually a good thing that feminization will be limited to appearance and appropriate dialogue reactivity—because it means adding this path won’t require an overwhelming amount of extra work. It lets me offer meaningful player choice without drastically expanding the scope of the project.
Besides the main story and the ability to decide on Alex's appearance, I also plan to add individual endings for each of the three main heroines: Olivia, Andrea, and Evelyn. So initially, there will be one ending for each heroine, tied to the romantic path the player pursued.
To give an example of how a full ending might look: First, the game would conclude with the main ending scene, showing whether Alex is still a Failure to Launch or has matured into adulthood. Then, there would be a character-specific scene—for example, if the player pursued Olivia, we would get a unique resolution for their relationship. In this scene, Alex’s appearance would reflect the feminization choices made throughout the game, making the ending feel personal and responsive to player decisions. Whether Alex appears masculine, more feminine, or somewhere in between, the ending will acknowledge those visual and relational choices.
I’ve also made a decision regarding Alex’s base appearance. While Alex2 did receive more votes, and I really appreciate all the feedback that helped me better understand your preferences, I’ve ultimately decided to go with Alex1—the version closer to his original look. I believe that feminization, both thematically and visually, works best when it begins from a more clearly masculine foundation. After all, the core appeal of that transformation is the change itself, and that contrast becomes more impactful when starting from a traditionally masculine appearance. I know this choice might not please everyone, especially those who preferred Alex2, but I genuinely believe this direction will lead to a better and more compelling end product.
This represents the initial scope of the game. After launching the first version, I’ll have a much clearer idea of how much work is required to implement all these features, and how tough it will be to expand the game further. That means I might be able to do even more things I want to—like adding Hannah and Lilly to the roster of main heroines, multiple endings for each heroine or including a wider range of animations throughout the game—but it’s too early to promise anything beyond what I’ve already laid out.
For now, I’ll be finishing Hannah today. When it comes to Mr. Bones and Lilly, I’ll aim to keep their core personalities and vibes intact, but I’ll be prioritizing speed in their remake so I can finally move on to developing the actual game content.
Thanks again for all the support, feedback, and excitement. I'm working hard to make this something special.

It's a good initial plan, and lays good foundations for further levels or avenues of transformation/feminisation of the MC, and for additional scenes and story routes later on, potentially involving multiple heroines, and other femboys/sissies/bimbos interacting with MC (eg at the encouragement or command of the futas)
