I love animated movies, but even I didn't think I would particularly connect with this one when I first saw it but WOW did it subvert every one of my expectations. it's wonderfully written, the voice actors gave INCREDIBLE performances, the animation and the differences in movement between the types of characters – the HD vs the 8-bit – it just really is a stunning film. and add to that the fantastic message that you should not let other people judge you based on something arbitrary like your job or a certain trait of yours – you are more than what is on the surface, and sometimes it takes walking away from the ones who don't appreciate you to gain that sort of perspective. always love watching this one, the sequel, ralph breaks the internet, is also a great watch. loved this reaction, yall!

I love all the mouthing from all to each other it was so fun. I to shouted out “oh he is Turbo!!!!!!” I never thought of that. The first time i saw this movie i just had nothing else to watch and then I couldn’t stop watching it. I just love Vanilja. She is the cutest 💖💖

2026-02-15 21:13:12 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favourite animated movies, love all the references to all the games. & glad both of you enjoyed it, it’s got such a great story with a lot of heart and I really like the idea of the characters have there own world they exist in. The sequel isn’t quite as good but it’s still very entertaining and fun and definitely worth watching.

2026-02-15 06:28:54 +0000 UTCThis movie sets everything up so well. My favorite part is the officers are donuts and that they were hiding when Ralph went on a rampage and when he was incapacitated they started to hit him. Such a genius joke to put in a Disney film. Ralph 2?

I always get teary-eyed in the kart scene when it turns for the worst and the end with the bad guy affirmation. I do recommend the sequel and touches on very different themes really well.
