Derideal duality
Added 2025-03-28 22:44:56 +0000 UTCSomething I felt like quickly drawing today, I was thinking about how I'm trying to explore other aspects of the same ideas, to blend the cute characters with a more light tone and still keep the edge of my usual stories.
I've been also drawing more "general art" of Mix and her obsession for socks, to keep up in socials and get people engaged with the character before Lost memories is released.
So I've been feeling split over the stuff I'm doing, on one side a more random and happy side of Mix talking to the public or doing memes, in hopes to catch more attention, also pushing a little sexy bait in case some other people get interested by that at the same time.
And the seriousness of Derideal stories, which I try to keep pushing but I'm never sure if people cares much about, a personal side, and more difficult side to catch people's attention because it requires more time, and more effort on their side to really get into my universe of stories.

Thanks! I'm not sad, just a little conflicting because I feel I'm drawing new things and getting away from my most dramatic side. But all things must evolve

2025-03-28 23:40:18 +0000 UTCI think it's valid feel this, I don't think it's easy to find the balance between having your creations presented exactly how you want them, while also giving them to your audience whom also want certain things. I know it sounds cheesy, but I think you should go with your gut on how you do it, but in doing so, accept how they are received. Sort of like, "if you build it, they will come." Sorry if I may not make the most sense, but at the very least, know that I appreciate your work and how it helps to either entertain me, relax me, and keep my imagination stimulated. Thank you!
