Hello, these are the sketches I made for the Final control episode , the ones I never posted.
I wanted to discuss the episode a little, I hope to not bore you much with this stuff, but I want to explain my reasonings behind it.
this episode I made it to bring many different emotions, and goes to many high and lows.
and I've been purposefully weakening the characters so none of them reach the final enemy in full strength, both physically and mentally: Alpha regeneration has become a negative factor. / Ivory is mentally unstable and acting impulsively --> they both aren't wearing any combat gear or weapons.
Alpha finds Laura / He doesn't remember much about her as he only kept his emotions, not his memories (it breaks my heart)
Alpha MUST rescue Laura when she ask, since Ivory was following it was going to lead to conflict.
C.Wally shows up, and Alpha has a new pressure: Save Ivory and Laura from him.
Doctor Orozco is completely destroyed emotionally, she wouldn't be doing much, since her last actions took a toll on her.
Daniel is back to rescue the xenos with the rebels/ he arrives in time, but C.Wally has the FOE and fails
Daniel becomes another person Alpha "must" save.
Alpha has a small chance to fight C.Wally once he recovers/ He must go help Ivory because she went to help Daniel, causing big conflicts.
EVERYTHING that happens in the episode is sort of predicted by C.Wally beforehand, or it seems that he has been prepared for many scenarios, and his power and control rise and rise as the episode goes.
this episode is one of the longest of "part 3" and I built it to be rise in stakes more and more as it progressed. Derideal is built in a way that tend to make readers difficult to predict it, I think it's because I'm not really copying a story structure used in popular media, and the characters are often incapable to make miracles.
I could have ended the whole story in a final, normal fight... so the story go on after this episode ends.
just my thoughts about it.
