Originally, I wanted this scene to be at the beginning of an episode, where C.WALLY thinks and reflects about why he kept using his glasses, and explain a little why he do it.

in this world fixing his eyesight problems would have been easier, specially being in the Consortium city... but he prefers to wear them, to realize how fragile humans are, how defective we are, how imperfect.
he's a true believer of the Nexo and the Consortium methods, controlled society development in every aspect possible to ensure humanity survival and development over the years, this also means taking care of the bad aspects of increased development, which include destroying the environement.

at least in the Consortium city, it reflects as how he would like to see the rest of the world... but despite the order and prosperity, there's always someone rebelling against it, which makes him think... the Consortium could go further, somehow, and well, he's always been trying to help "humanity" in any way possible, part of the reason he despite being now trapped inside this "xeno" experiment.
