Added 2023-12-25 12:57:35 +0000 UTCThese dialogs were a bit difficult, I hope the idea get across... I tried to make them as clear as I could, without making him sound like he's explaining to someone, just reflecting about how human nature is to basically destroy order.
if this point doesn't get across, I think I need to think about changing the dialogs a little further later.

What would happen if someone truly megalomaniac took over leadership or significant clout in the Consortium and began tearing everything down for his own amusement? You can't plan for every scenario, there are just an infinite number of them. There are also strategic, fundamental, and unexplained flaws that you both see and will never see in both librarian and authoritarian governments, but someone else will notice and become wildspreed over time. Only in a democracy can most of these be mitigated and (mostly) contained, even if that means allowing some bad actors and harm from other in, but these too can be mitigated and contained. Its a price for freedom. Anyway, ED talk over, please let me choke this psychopath with my own hands

Rebels prefer freedom to do whatever, even if cost society survival or whatever the consortium use to justify their tyranny . But rebel motivation are diverse, some might be out for revenge, other for convenience etc. It's just something that I think is bound to happen in a fully controlled society
