Music that inspired me (BLOG)

but yeah, I was one of those kids that listen to songs and basically played a whole animated video by imagination following the lyrics (of the music I guess)
as I grew older, I tried to tap into the power of the lyrics in songs that describe emotions and situations, so it helpmed me to put in place of my characters or the scenes I was thinking.
sometimes the song was the cause for me to make an entire comic, and scene, a character.
there's a lot of ideas to stuff that's not literal in the lyrics of the songs that have helped me to figure out a feeling I want to achieve in a story or the feelings I WANTED in a scene.
I basically love METAL, and it's been the soundtrack of my stories, and I was such an edgy kid, and now I still kinda enjoy sad music or sad themes.
it's bad that most of the songs and music I like is in Spanish (and believe me, I'm sort of an odd person in that matter, always got trouble finding people who like the same stuff)
I just wanted to make a list with some explanations, it probably won't be as interesting or useful to make people actually UNDERSTANDS why I like these songs and why they were important.
anyway, these are the songs that have inspired my comics and importants parts of them:
DERIDEAL PART 1

If I could pick a song that represented all of my stories it would be this one.
lyrics talks about finding someone, and trying to not giving up.
about having a life that's been turned outside down, and after that there's a new universe, a new chance hopefully.
Isra ramos has inspired LOTS of my comics, my favorite artist so far.

I relate these lyrics to Aden, mostly because it talk about "set free"
but the actual lyrics could be interpreted as becoming a vampire and become free because of that, but it isn't literal, so leave room for interpretation.

I usted to listen to this song when I dray dreamed about Aden and Laura first kiss in part 1.
DERIDEAL PART 2:
Sacrificio - ALQUIMIA (spanish metal)
just a powerful and energetic song that was the cause I decided to finally start Derideal part 2, and this is why
the comic starts with Aden in a last stand versus the Consortium, bleeding out and just wanting to die.

with this song I got inspired to include Ivory in the story.
for some reason it made me think a lot about her and the need of a new female in the story.

Another song that I strongly relate to Ivory due the lyrics.
basically a song about being in love with someone that you're not sure feels the same.

DERIDEAL PART 3:
El dolor fantasma - Amadeüs (spanish metal)

and at the end... for what?
basically a song about someone who's asking death to release him from all the pain, tired of fighting and struggling...
knowing he's missing something, but can't have it, it's easier to ask for forget everything.
hijos de medea - Amadeüs (spanish metal)

talk to this heart, it's still not late...
late to escape and stop feeling so alone... alone."
I love this song, gives me so much emotions, lyrics are basically someone crying for a "why" why have you done this to me?
all that's left is a broken life.
this song is actually amazing, I love it with all of my heart and I can't describe the ambience and how wild my imagination goes, as it fits exactly with the tone of my story.
The nowhere man - Gräce (english indie metal/electronic)
a song about forgetting, and sometimes coming back to memory and asking for forgiveness to your loved one.
vacío - Daeria (spanish metal)
this song came to me at the moment I needed it the most, and the whole ending of Derideal was sorted out by the feelings this song gave me.

basically someone daring to face god in order to be with his loved one.

this is Nova's song for me. lyrics sort of talks about being given the responsibility to save everyone.
el barco de papel - Amadeüs (spanish metal)
this is the song that inspired the entire Nova's comic.
it's just the general vibe that made me think about the entire story.
lyrics are just about forgetting your dreams, to let go someone or something.

CUSTUS- PROJECT PRIME
the entire comic is basically based off in the emotions described in this song.

the lyrics are just about a soldier that decides to die fighting and then thinks about his loved one.
THE VOID

For some reason this is the song I used to listen when coming up with THE VOID storyline.
lyrics are basically about not giving up.

I got inspiration with this song and it basically forced me to write and draw the lost memories comic I was thinking.
