Quick Update

My apologies for being quiet. I'm writing this update to just give a quick update on the state of development, as I realise I've not posted much recently.
Back in November last year I came down with the Shingles, and after that had bad flu from December through January. Finally thinking I was on the mend, I had a health scare with a large lump early in February, which took me out of things a bit longer. Thankfully, it seems that was only a scare, and was probably just swollen lymph nodes, but it took a while for things to be figured out.
As a result of all of that disruption, I've been out of the rhythm of developing, and it has been a bit slow going. I'm doing my best, and I think it's probably best to put out something just to reset my mind after such a long break. My intention is to get a build out this weekend (though the build might be a smaller one), with a general return to schedule returning after that.

Yeah, I got it back in my second year of high school, so I was gone for a week, Thanksgiving break (and my birthday) happened while I was sick, and I came back and everyone kept asking if I was OK because I became a stick from barely eating for that long. But it was all OK in the end and that's what matters. I completely understand the frustration too, it's not uncommon for me to get just sick enough to be able to kinda think but unable to do anything. It's great that you're excited to get back to writing! I write too (but not for anything big like you, I just play dnd and am waiting to start on a game). Hopefully this forced break means you won't get burnt out anytime soon! Can't wait to see what you do!

Was more frustrating than anything, just excited to be back to writing :) Also, sorry to hear you had a bad flu and pneumonia back to back, it's always worse when you get hit by these things when you're already run-down from another bout of illness.

I can't imagine how awful what you're dealing with must be. You deserve all the rest and time you need! I hope you feel better and go a while without feeling sick again! π©΅π©΅π©΅
