Major Hardware Issues
Added 2024-01-22 11:34:14 +0000 UTCHi everyone ^_^
Sadly, I woke up today to find that my main computer was no longer functioning, with what seems to be a motherboard issue (have been having increasing issues with the motherboard and display ports for a while).
At the moment, I'm looking into data recovery for the development game files and surrounding folders (sadly there are parts that I don't otherwise have a backup of). However, my general prognosis of the situation is that I'm going to be better off getting a new computer outside of that, which using the business I have the in past is quoted to be a 1-2 week process.
During that time I'll be doing my best to make some progress on development with my old computer, but I'm limited in what it can do (especially before the software recovery device I'm after comes - annoying that most of my important data was on an M2 SSD).
Sorry once again for a delay, and thank you for your patience ^_^
P.S. If someone could please let my Discord community know about this I'd be greatly appreciative, the computer I'm on is very old and I'm legitimately unsure if it can handle Discord.

Friendly reminder to always, always have backup of your important data :-). I personally have an external HDD which I transfer data to every couple of months. Easy peasy, and saves a lot of annoyances down the road.

2024-01-22 23:00:52 +0000 UTCThanks CW ^_^ Have put in an Amazon order for an M2 enclosure and another for my hard drives so I can try and pull the data from them. That'll be something I can sort over the next couple of days. Will (fingers crossed) be fine with the data transfers over to my NAS, and then probably install the hard drives (outside of the M2) into it, as I don't think they are the problem. New computer is an annoying expense, but I've been running this one that has broken for 5-6 years at this point, full days every day, so it's not too surprising.

2024-01-22 12:17:00 +0000 UTCif it's just the motherboard the disks should be fine just put them into a new device or a docking station. If SSD is dead it is dead and with it everything you got there. No chance of recovery. I just wish you good luck!
