Brief Update on Build 0.5.17 (Update 1)

Hi everyone ^_^

Welcome to another weekly build update, covering what I'm planning to work on this as part of the upcoming build. After the unexpected hiatus that game development has been on the last few months, I'm glad to be back in the rhythm of writing and developing the game further. This build, as I'm still rusty, I don't want to aim for too many specific goals, and instead will just try and get a few things done here and there with a shorter build turn-around. That way it'll be easier to get the hang of it all again, and there's less pressure to do specific content.

As I want to be more loose with this build, primarily I'll be working on Tom the cat, who the player will be able to adopt after a small random encounter chain. When adopted he'll randomly wander around the player's apartment in the way cats do, offering a small bonus, but mostly just being a cute addition to the home. This is something I've had planned since my cat, Tom, passed away about a year ago, so I'm looking forward to putting this tribute to him into the game.

After that I want to get some more general content added to the school, as the school is the area of content most in my mind currently. These aren't in any particular order, but firstly I'm interested in a new classroom scene where the player will be able to answer a classroom question which will impact the players delinquency/reputation depending on how they do so. Secondly, I have a  polled scene planned for Physical Education class where the player ends  up doing sex wrestling with Baylee. Finally, I'm also looking into working on the school interrupt encounters, which will give the school content a bit more character/randomness, add in some more fetish content to it, and generally just make it more  mechanically in-line with the rest of the game. These interrupts will obviously cover all the regular things that interrupts do, such as  lactation overspill, pregnancy progression, wetting accidents, and cum/sex addiction triggers.

If there's time, then I will also be working on the underwear system update, in which I'll be changing it so that it's more inline  with the outfit system, having various 'underwear tags' that describe  its function. When that's done, I'll also be well-placed to start adding in the underwear I've been saving up, with the collection of Adult clothing and accessories coming first. Finally, thanks to Joywoi in the  Discord community (sorry I've taken so long on this), we have a new writing submission for Mei, an Asian cat-girl who works at the Degredationist Brothel, who I'll be adding in too.

My primary goal of this build is;

• Tom The Cat - Tom will be a pet the player will be able to find and bring back to their home, after which he'll wander around their home and do cute cat things. He'll be found within 3 short travelling encounters when returning home, which will allow the player to eventually bring him with them. Having Tom in your home will also provide an extra relationship point gain with each roommate/slave each day.

As such, my other major plans for this build are;

• School Interrupt Encounters - Much like all the other time passing instances, the school too needs interrupt encounters. These are usually attached to fetish content, and are things like; milk overspill (lactation), pregnancy progression (pregnancy), cum/sex addiction, wetting (watersports), etc. Most of these will be similar to previous versions, but I see others will likely differ significantly, likely also impacting the player's school reputation in the process.
• Underwear System Update - A more minor thing to  mention, but much like the update to the outfit system last year that  saw the addition of 'clothing tags', underwear needs to be updated in a  very similar way to make sure that it is suitable for future updates.
• Adult Clothing & Accessories - Having built up over  time, I have a decent selection of Adult clothing and accessory artwork saved up. All of these will be added to Princess Sylvia's store.
• Classroom Encounter Answer Teacher's Question - Another simple classroom encounter where the player has the  opportunity to answer a question in class. Doing so will increase  relationship with the teacher and give a small skill exp boost based on  the lesson and decrease delinquency, responding with a joke will gain  some school reputation, small relationship boosts, and delinquency, not  doing anything will give nothing.
• [Polled] Baylee Phys Ed Class Sex Wrestling Encounter -  In this new Phys Ed classroom encounter, the player will be put against  Baylee the cheer team captain, with the class being focussed on sex  wrestling. Player will be able to choose how hard they try, and will  receive differing results depending on that (and Baylee's opinion of the  player).
• [Submission] Mei The Deg Brothel Cat-Girl - Submitted  to me kindly by Joiwoi, Mei is an Asian cat-girl the player will be able  to meet when working at the Degredationist Brothel. So far there is one  encounter with her, but in the future I'm hopeful we'll see more.

Low priority content that I might get around to (or at least that I'm keeping in the back of my mind) includes;

• Info Boxes - After having added in the basic options  set for the info boxes and set up the exp portion of that info system  for players to view, I still need to work on the quest information boxes  and item gain information boxes.
• Player Scene Images Overhaul - This one has been on the  back burner for a while, but down various content paths I've saved up a  selection of alternate images featuring the male and or female player  stand-in. My hope is to change the code to allow players to select  whether they see these images or not, but also select whether they only  see one gender version of the images, and also be able to select whether  it only shows the appropriate image to the player's current genital  situation.
• Fem/Sissy Trainer Sweet Sissy Continuation - Currently there are three major narrative scenes left on the sweet sissy Fem/Sissy Trainer path,
• Sam (Fetish Slave) - Sam is a female Asian fetish-y character the player will be able to buy from Princess Sylvia's store. She's cute, but might need some training from a perspective owner. Sam will have various sexual and fetish related interactions.
• School Detention - After getting given detention by one  of their teachers, players will be able to attend after-school  detention, which can be ran by a randomly selected teacher. Different  teachers will have different punishments, with the punishment selected  being randomly selected from a pool of them.
• School Testing (And Qualifications System) - One of the  aims of the school is to offer the player qualifications that require  them to have learned multiple related skills to gain. These  qualifications will add value to the player on the slave auction ending  route, and will also be used to potentially gate progression on certain  jobs, as well as offer new opportunities to the player in general.

A new art poll for the month has just been posted on both supporter sites, covering new school content scenes, so give that a vote if you're interested (first time running a SubscribeStar poll so not sure if I've done it correctly). As for artwork, it's still slowly rolling in, with tattoo artwork having gotten to the stage where I think I'll likely add it in soon.
