The xenos are usually drop in these boxes, they're heavily fortified, have some limited life-support and are capable to reduce high-speed impacts.
they're not super comfortable to be inside, and some models have little space, but it's enough for a Prime at this point, it could easily contain 2 cats per time.

I would be more scared about games workshop and their space marine drop-pods. a sturdy box from the sky isn't too similar to a pokeball with magical space inside, I still don't know what's inside a pokeball xd
