Hey, it took me a while, but I got the blog about this page.
this one isn't exactly much different to the one I sketched, except Paladin pose, because I felt he should be surprised and not so calmed (he was calmed in the original legacy version when he meet Aden and Laura).
There's something odd about "the rebels" and is that they're generally more "friendly" towards Xeno when they meet them. They are people with some more empathy than the average Consortium scientist or soldier on the city.
I think it was in this page where I decided to start revising more the layouts and rework as much as I could the original sketches from the pages, making the entire page process longer, but with better results.
And I think that this point I was feeling much more comfy with the way I was painting, so everything I spend in lineart, compensated a quick painting style (relatively) with good enough quality (I hope).
ORIGINAL
original sketch, was made very quickly and I wasn't even using a ruler haha

Fixed sketch
pretty much what I said earlier, it's mosly fixing the poses and layout for the real page size. Paladin got the most changes in here.

Lineart
I'm spending even more time at this stage in my latest comics.
background is very minimal

COLOR
backgrounds are quick in most pages, as I rely on blur/spots of lights and textures to give the idea of the place they're in.
here you can see the flat colors over teh characters, here the character with more work is generally Laura because of her "white" spots in her fur, that weren't in her original design in legacy.
