The Void 5-24 blog+wip

A complicated page to draw, but a very fun one to layout, I hope it reads in the order I wanted, but still, it doesn't have much dialog and the spots that might be confusing can be read in different order and the meaning stay the same.
The elder got I tried to depicted here is Yog-Sothoth (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu_Mythos_deities#Yog-Sothoth)
it's described as a conglomeration of "spheres" and I also read that it depicted sometimes as just "lines" of lights, this god is present everywhere and knows everywhere, it knows everything... I think it's one of the most "multi-purpose" entities Lovecraft made and it's kinda easy to include in any tale that involve portals and dimensions I think, since this guy is pretty much present during all time, past ,present and future.
that's why I always use this being when portals, dimensions and weird stuff is involved.
In general, the thing that happened here with the "tilinghast" resonator is that it got active and the Consortium scientist were trying to contact any of these outside entities in exchange of knowledge, but little they know they always demand sacrifice.
For me, Yog sothoth "felt" Susu from afar, demanding sacrifice to complete the ritual, and she was the only one capable of "listening" to him, and she was lured so this elder being could tap into her psychic power, since Lovecraftian gods are capable to influence the minds of people, create dreams etc, I thought a psychic character might be even more vulnerable to their spell, and since Yog sothoth knows all, used her weakness to mislead her.
in the original dialog of the script Yog-sothoth said to Susu "Finally, my long desire sacrifice".... I changed that to make it more vague, so that dialog was replaced by "such and innocent creature" , implying how easy she fell into the trap.
Anyway, these beings aren't supposed to exist, so it was impossible for Susu to consider something like this might be possible, but in THE VOID all crazy things are possible B).
I'll explain a little more about the ritual in the next pages.

FIXED

I like this pose tbh, and I also like the fact some people might get hentai vibes from it, I guess it's inevitable haha

LINEART
not much to say here, except that for me it was important to make the tentacles to look not so organic or at least to not look much like normal octopus, Yog sothoth is depicted as many spheres with "eyes" and the main sphere with a eye that has a galaxy inside it, the eye has lines as if it was composed by small filaments like tentacles, I imagine these lines always moving, but organizing the tentacles forming spheres and the main form.

SHADES
in this you can see the background shading, withouth shadows over SUSU and the entity, so you can see the clean lines better.
the "lines" crossing the background and the lineart represent to me points where "reality" is just flickering, lines of light or quantum distortion, idk, I just imagine besides the entity should be "reality distortion" and I liked the idea of many lines crossing the space around it
