I decided to write a little script today... For a side comic I have in mind, those I said I shouldn't do-- but I want to keep it short! π°
It will be a new XEN minicomic.
And inspiration came so better hear it...
It's also a good chance for me work on a faster way to tell a focused mini story.
If everything goes well, a new patreon and exclusive comic will be available a few months xd
The mess you see here is my notes and ideas for a sequence, I am trying to write numbers around the parts I feel will be a panel and that way I am trying to imagine how many pages will it be...
Hmm, after this process "written" script that looks messy because it's only for myself, I will make a sketch version with panels and such like I have uploaded before for my other comics.
I decided to get back to writing before drawing since a few months back... I felt adding an additional step in the story making give me another chance to revise before drawing sketches...
This is how a sketch script comic page look, I tend to draw right away the stories like this as it makes my imagination fly by... But I have problems containing the length of story, maybe writing first will make me process things more instead of rushing into drawing whatever I want.
I have discovered part of the reason I make stuff so fast is that I barely spend much time planning, since I am always rushing to make new stuff I am very impatient to see everything done, this process is slower but I think might help me to produce higher quality work at the long run.
Wish me luck π€
