I want to ask you guys. What you'd like to see as a theme for this month's Monthly?
I was thinking of keeping it open but you have to include MAPLE the bay city witch in the suggestion.
Pop a comment with your suggestion! I can't wait to read them! I'd like to put the suggestion tread proper up by Wednesday! So get those suggestions in!

CLARIFICATION
I'm not looking for suggestions for what maple to do.
I'm looking for suggestions LIKE involving maple. I'm looking for a particular theme for the month like "Candy" or "Involve Elenore the ghost" etc. Vague Ideas/Themes to use for the proper Theming for the month.

As to the theme, I know October is always associated with Halloween, but at least in my area it's when the leaves turn so many gorgeous colours, so maybe a theme around the changing of the season. The air getting cooler (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), leaves turning, the winter animals showing up, etc.

Which I think you could continue with someone Maple might of turn into female in the past now male. That desire to be more feminine that a male got to experience for a moment and wanting to make it more permanent. Since they had a taste of it and want more.

She leaves halloween buckets at people's doors, with a magical zipper inside, with fruit on the zipper handle for different body types (similar to the bands from your latest comic). The zipper lets people take off their own skin and "be themselves". They can put their skin back on and take off the zipper if they want to turn back, but the zipper/skinsuit stops working after Nov 1st.

They manage to break in, but of course Halloween is the biggest night of the year for a witch! Maple is out, but they're still transformed by the traps in her lair. When Maple comes back, she finds that some flies have been caught by her web... Could do some wackier TF stuff with the traps, maybe one turns into a black cat, another into a demoness, and the last into her new apprentice.

And maybe Maple has a spell for things like that? And instead coincidentally/unintentionally “gifts” them a new form for their afterlife or a actual physical form?
