I believe that both cases are the result of content restrictions imposed by VISA and Mastercard. Fantia took steps to protect creators, while Patreon chose to abandon them. Honestly, I’m surprised that VISA is still accepted on FANBOX — though I think it’s only a matter of time before that changes as well...
