Weekly Blog Post 8/25/2024 Quality of Life and Remaking Old Content

Greetings everyone and welcome back to the last Blog Post before we drop this next update, August 30th for Patrons.

From the Title, you might be thinking how big of a workload this has been if we're throwing around the word "remake". We do not mean to to scare you as Remake in the Adult Games umbrella usually means something bad like removing content or worse, breaking save.

All Maple Island content is still there and Saves are 100% still functioning.

As a writer, seeing writing I made almost 6 years ago is... Brutal! So much for so little that after pondering it for so long, it HAS to be corrected.

AT least 76,000 words have been removed from Maple Island, Lith Harbor, Henesys Part 1 and 2, and other corners of the game, and here is an example of it.

The early game reads better, feels better, is MUCH more balanced and optimized, and best of all; there's more sex scenes EARLIER than ever. Mai, Admin, and Maria have all been given extras and we hope you all enjoy them!

But on top of remaking so much of the old game, we sat down and came up with QOL we knew would go over very well. Behold... Quality of Life!

Missions that Randomly had extra Rewards will now ask you to select one of them. More control over what you want from a Mission!

The Quest Tracker will not Grey Out Quests that shouldn't be viewable if for say you were on Lovers. This so you can truly see how much of the game is ready to be seen on a new save file.

More Wanders and Monster Cousins have been added to Maple Island, Ereve, and Rien. All of them ready to drop goodies.

And lastly, we rebuilt our UI windows so the red X stands out MUCH more. Windows, Quest Tracker, Library, and every other corner of the game now has a better indicator. ESC still functions the same, too.

This is what has been worked on for the last month and we're super proud of how well it's come together. New players will get the Opening Chapter they didn't know they wanted and old players have new content to go back too alongside some other sprinkling of content. This will mark the end of our series of Monthly content and come October, you'll have another monstrous update waiting for you that covers your favorite characters. For now, this one is right around the corner!
