next anime after demon slayer?

we are approaching the end of demon slayer!
i wanted to make an open suggestion post here of what anime i should watch next, and then i will take the most popular choices and create a youtube poll in the next few days!
PLEASE READ FIRST: do NOT suggest JJK, AoT, death note, bleach, one piece, or spy x family
JJK, aot and spy x family i have all started in my own time unfortunately so i think it'd be a bit odd to start reactions to those midway through. death note/and bleach i've seen, and one piece is just too long to commit to as a reaction.
other than that, i'd love to stay in a similar genre as demon slayer/AoT/JJK etc!
currently my main ideas are frieren, cyberpunk edgerunners, FMAB, mob psycho or bungo stray dogs so i'd love thoughts on those too!

2024-12-03 00:49:03 +0000 UTCI can 100% recommend Tokyo Ghoul. Amazing series with a well executed story and well told message. It does have some of the same elements as Demon Slayer (also got Tanjiro's VA for the main character), and it's just overall a great watch.

You’re likeable, and I think your Patreons especially are already on your side. Besides, I honestly haven’t encountered any toxic fans — though that might just be because I’m in my German bubble.

2024-11-23 18:54:21 +0000 UTCAll 700 episodes of Naruto or bust.. jk... (Unless 👀🤣) Fr though, Solo Leveling is an absolutely incredible series. It's short, only like 13 episodes & season 2 is coming in 2025. It's so hard to explain what it's about but if you enjoy video games, crazy cool animation and morally grey characters, you'll love it!

2024-11-21 23:43:43 +0000 UTCwould love to see a haikyuu reaction if youre up for sports anime. its one of the best and one of my personal favourite anime of all time. it does a really really great job of character writing, to the point where theres not a single character you can honestly hate by the end of it all even if theyre opponent teams. you root for everyone and thats something really fun to experience

2024-11-21 21:57:49 +0000 UTCFullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is easily my favorite anime, highly highly recommend, things are a little rushed at the start but thats because they didnt want to lose people who already watched the original show (which outpaced the manga and made up with own story but started the same) but Brotherhood is phenomenal, and even if rushed those early episodes are still amazing, but i think the biggest selling point i can give is that because this was made to be more true to the manga, the story had the ending planned from the start, and everything feeds into the story, not one episode of filler (there are light hearted episodes but usually have a purpose plot or character wise)

2024-11-21 21:18:30 +0000 UTCOutside of Vinland Saga which i posted on a prior comment, My Hero Academia is absolutely amazing although it’s currently 7 seasons and running. Cyberpunk edgerunners is great if you’re looking for a shorter commitment. Frieren is really solid as well.
