2024-10-11 02:23:14 +0000 UTCthank you for saying that :') yeah as someone who is newer to both of these fandoms to me on the outside at surface level it seems like people mostly hate on "woke" things (aka female, people of color leads) which really frustrates me. i do like to go in open minded and i agree, i don't really get those who are jumping on the bandwagon of the "anti-woke" crowd

2024-10-11 02:17:12 +0000 UTCI just want to point out how nice it is to see someone who isn't reactionary about the MCU or Star Wars. You actually give the shows and movies a chance and don't just hop on board the hate train. I've seen too many YouTubers say things like "The MCU has sucked since Endgame". I just question whether they *actually* think that, or if it's just the popular thing to say. I think people are too obsessed with fitting in and going with the crowd. You're never afraid to say "I've heard this about this movie/show but I'm going to take that with a grain of salt and form my own opinion", and like me, you usually find things to love in everything you watch. It's very genuine. Like you're not just saying the trendy thing to please subscribers. And I think that's good because, in my opinion, a lot of the hate the MCU and Star Wars get is from the anti-woke crowd, and I resent those who cater to them.

Regarding Rio, she mentioned last episode to Agatha, something like " you get the power, I get the bodies". Now I expect her to have stayed with Alice's body when the rest of them left the building. Don't know yet what Rio's role is exactly here.
