Casey cursed under her breath. These so called ‘clothing experts’ were supposed to bring her clothes that brought out her inner beauty and perfectly matched her body, but instead they brought her a set of clothes that were far too large.
She shifted uncomfortably as she tried to keep the baggy clothing from sliding off her body. Banging on the changing room door, Casey called out for the attendee. She couldn’t believe her friend had so highly recommended this place.
Then, in a perfect customer service voice, Casey heard the woman’s response from the other side of the door. “Everything coming along ok in there?”
Cassy scoffed and quickly quipped back; “No - It’s not! These clothes are way too big. Did you even see me when I came in?!”
The attendee sounded almost offended as she responded. “Of course I did! I just was bringing you a pair of clothes that would fit your other body.”
”My other body?” Casey quietly muttered to herself confusedly.
The attendee must‘ve had really good hearing, because she responded to Casey’s question without dropping a beat. “Yes - Your other body! You know!”
Bewildered and confused, Casey started to feel incredibly guilty as she began to believe she was dealing with a person with a mental disability. But what caught her off guard was the attendee’s eerily strange response, as if she had heard her inner thoughts…
“I am NOT crazy! I’m talking about THIS body!” She angrily spoke through the door; snapping her fingers as she concluded her strange explanation.
Casey grunted as her body began to heat up. Did they turn up the heat? Why was she feeling so itchy? And… WHY WAS SHE GROWING TUFTS OF FUR?!
Oh… THAT other body! How silly of her…
How could she forget her other self?
