Classroom Rules on Gender Fluidity
Respect All Identities:
Teacher’s Note: As I transition between male and female forms, please remember that my gender identity is fluid. Respect each individual’s self-identification and use their preferred pronouns at all times.
Pronouns Matter:
Teacher’s Note: I may shift between he/him and she/her pronouns, depending on the moment. Always use the pronouns provided for everyone, including me, and make adjustments as needed.
Inclusive Language:
Teacher’s Note: Whether I am in my male or female form, inclusive language supports everyone’s comfort. Avoid assumptions about gender in your language, and use neutral terms when unsure.
Personal Space and Expression:
Teacher’s Note: My expressions and appearance may change unpredictably. Respect personal space and allow everyone the freedom to express their gender identity without discomfort or scrutiny.
Open Dialogue and Learning:
Teacher’s Note: As I experience shifts between male and female forms, foster an environment of open dialogue. Feel free to ask questions respectfully and learn about gender fluidity to promote understanding and empathy in our classroom.
Personal Note - I need to remind my male half that clothing that may be appropriate for a school setting in his form is not always appropriate in mine
