Avoid suscribe through the iOS app!
Added 2025-05-07 15:34:13 +0000 UTCFOR ALL APPLE USERS!! Don't subscribe to Patreon through the iOS app! They're charging you an extra 30% on top of Patreon subscription plans, and that money is only for them. Creators don't receive any of that 30%. Not only that, they're withholding the money from subscriptions through the iOS app for 75 days. Yes! 75 days, almost 3 months, in which no creator will see that money. If you really want to support your favorite creator (or me), don't subscribe through the iOS app and use the browser instead.
You can still use the Patreon app as usual afterward; this is just for signing up to avoid the extra fee and really support your favorite creator.

2025-05-07 16:30:43 +0000 UTCI still don't know much about this change, but if you are already subscribed through that medium and they didn't charge you the 30% it means that you joined months before they implemented this change, in the same way if one day they charge you 30% I hope you know that it's not me who does it but the iOS app store.
