トライブリゲードカラーラフです。

うーん…最近,表情が少し気に入っていません. もっと漫画のような感じで挑戦してみたいです...

In general, facial expressions in manga tend to be more dramatic because the viewer moves on from the panel more quickly to read other parts. Because your drawings are highly detailed, the observation period is longer, so subtle parts are important. Also, even in lewd drawings, I like to see facial expressions other than sexual arousal. For example, in the Exosister breast massage drawing, Irene isn't showing lewdness at all, her feeling is "I love my sister just the way she is, so I will give kindness and support", and the contrast makes it interesting without a dramatic expression. In the corner, the characters have more manga-like expressions because it's smaller and less detailed, and the viewers' eyes move to the main picture.

feeling that the expression is lacking, I feel that something has been mass-produced, and I feel that there is a lack of liveliness...

I dont think so. For one thing you have done a few recently with silly expressions. Secondly, it depends on the drawing - some i think are better fitting with more realistic expression However if yoi want try doing more expressive faces - i say go for it

Hmm... After listening to it, it seems that there are parts that I didn't pay attention to compared to other parts, such as eyebrows and mouth... I'll have to pay attention this time.

I mean to say "trying to make the facial expressions stand out more", like maybe for example, it's hard to assume that Ferrijit in this rough is feeling amazed and blissful, the expression is a bit too neutral. It feels like some of your older drawings had this exaggerated style to it that really came across even at a glance.

I do agree with you on the point that the character's expressions are lackluster with your recent drawings, but I do think there are some good ones. The Vampire Vamp and Cupid Pitch drawings feel like they do emphasize the expression of the characters more. I also liked the I:P Masquerena expression from the footjob illustration, so maybe it's just about trying to facial expression stand out more? I do kind of understand what you mean though.

The eyes are the most important for expressing emotion, and I think that's your strong point. For the mouth, it depends if the character is loud or quiet. For loud, the mouth can be drawn large so it's easy to draw in different ways. For quiet characters, the mouth is drawn small, so the expression relies on small curves. But that subtlety is important for the character. Even a small thing like the angle of the eyebrows can have an impact.

I'm not sure about that part...because i think it's more like an drawing skill issue...

Yes.. When I see that banner, haven't my emotional expressions become weak these days? It makes me think like that.

RO_G

BEST would be an expression that is lovable but expresses emotions well...

With facial expressions i dont have too much of preference (i think) However i must say the exagerated expressions (like the one in Fanbox banner) make art very funny and memorable

Sokaras

Nice

Sokaras

In the end, it depends on the characters being drawn I think.

metallaeus

Personally, I like the way you draw facial expressions. I prefer them to be not exaggerated. But I have a bias because I always request lovey-dovey faces.
