Okay it's just basic spaceflight stuff and, despite handwaving a lot of other science stuff (I don't know much biology for one), I wanted this much to be right. Erin's fog doodles are based on napkin art from a pilot friend and I included an annotated version to hopefully make things clearer to anyone who is only familiar with Star Trek styles of spaceflight where the ship only moves if the engines are on.
Anywho. Fayes they asked you not to eavesdrop!!!

Fayes will probably diplomatically convince them to allow her to bring her test subjects along, mostly by turning Erin and Mauer into said subjects.
