Hey all. Here's with some OC content finally. I really hope start putting out more but last OC art was already a few months ago I think...
Anyway, this is Narcisa. A vampire lady who I originally created for a small game project before scrapping it and deciding I liked the concept more as a comic. Maybe before the year is over I'll actually have that started...
Putting that aside, this artwork actually marks a slight redesign for Narcisa as I've opted to simplify her hair to cover her right eye completely. This probably sounds minor but I had been avoiding it as I felt it was less unique and similar to other established characters (especially Persona's Mitsuru with the red hair) but, keeping it simple is probably for the best haha. In general I feel this has been a bit of a running theme in my designs so far: not simplifying features even though the result would look better. At least I'm starting to realize it I guess.
I didn't make any other changes to her as I still like her elf-like ears and outfit that looks like a halloween costume lol.
I also included my scribble pages of shaking off some rust and making this design decision lol. Here's hoping I get more OC stuff done lol, following thus is just some info on the character

Narcisa is a young (relatively) vampire who was "laid to rest" early due to her fellow vampires finding her excessively annoying (unbeknownst to her). A few centuries later, Narcisa is accidentally awakened by the construction of a golf course on her grave. Furious, she intends to meet with the decrepit Dracula to get her grave restored but is immediately at odds with the bureaucratic vampire, Pinkie, and her excessive red tape. In her quest to get her grave fixed, Narcisa learns and struggles with the new law of the vampires that prohibits much of the life she knew, chief among them being the outlawing of consuming human blood.
Narcisa herself is narcissistic (thus the pun) and excessively asocial, ready to happily sleep the rest of her life away. She is also stubborn in her belief of how vampires should behave even when it contradicts her own feelings. Status is everything to Narcisa and she would often brag about how many humans she feasted on. Ironically, Narcisa absolutely despises the taste of humans and any consumption of them is a reflection of her stubbornness.
Additionally, Narcisa possesses Nosferatu's Left Hand, a sort of supernatural "blessing" that causes her left arm to transform and bestow on her immense power. Unfortunately, the power is highly chaotic with Narcisa having very little control over it. The hand tends to activate when she gets angry which... happens a lot.

If it's not clear from my writing, the idea is meant to be pretty comedic in nature while dealing with themes of narcissism and self-loathing. I hope I can make it a reality soon.
One last note, my "vampires" are meant to be play fast and loose with the standard rules. They can walk in the sun (they just dislike it since they're all extremely pale), they can eat garlic (but they tend to have sensitive stomachs), and they simply dislike organized religion just as much as the average person.
