Hatching that one middle panel was hard. I didn't really know how much black I wanted so I probably ended up working backwards of how I should have - using the fine pen before breaking on the honking marker tip. And then of course I just went over it more digitally.
Other than that one panel I'm pleased with how this page turned out - Erin's expressions, the foam closing in, mixing the red and blue tones, inking in the sound effects... It'll be March when we find out what state Erin's in but I hope Wacky Wonderland will fill the gap and provide a refresher of just being fun and silly!
